Internship Program

We believe that internships are key to launching careers of young professionals

Internships can provide substantial exposure and training in a student's chosen field and the management at iNetworks believe they have a responsibility to provide these opportunities to deserving students.  iNetworks' internship program draws both undergraduate and graduate students from a wide variety of schools in Pennsylvania, such as Carnegie Mellon University, University of Pittsburgh, University of Pennsylvania and Villanova University, and other major universities throughout the world.  We have nearly a two decade history of helping to shape extraordinary talented young women and men with practical private equity/venture capital experience.  Our interns have become Wall Street investment bankers, high level government officials, entrepreneurs running their own start-ups, international trade experts, hedge fund managers and many other professions.  Nearly all interns have had an undergraduate grade point average over 3.8, and an exceptional background of early achievement.

The recent Kauffman Foundation study has indicated that over 55 percent of entrepreneurs of the future will come from this segment.  While academic financial skills are important, writing and analysis skills are paramount for success in the program.

Interns are accepted for summer, fall and spring time periods, and may be part-time during the school year of full-time during the summer, depending on their schedule.  iNetworks has very high expectations for its interns as they enter the program and subsequently in their careers.

  • The internship program is designed to provide practical training, exposure and experience in Mergers & Acquisitions skills rather than entrepreneurship.

  • Interns work under close supervision of iNetworks' principals.

  • With the permission of our clients, interns are periodically invited to attend substantive business meetings in order to obtain valuable observer experience.

  • After internship completion, iNetworks principals take considerable time to provide successful interns with appropriate references, contacts, suggestions and guidance as they proceed through their carers.
